Ben Sims Founder and MD
Ben is the Founder and Managing Director at Physio4GPS. He has a worked in Primary Care for 14 years and has developed an extensive breadth of clinical knowledge on holistic care for patient outcomes; gathering additional experience in acupuncture, joint injections, cognitive functional therapy and leadership qualifications. His clinical work has been bolstered with a continued drive to improve health service delivery and design and he has been a leading figure in the introduction of First Contact Practitioner (FCP) Services into East Kent Primary Care, regularly speaking at NHS England conferences. Ben has strong educational links with Christchurch University as well as boosting the profile of physiotherapists in Primary Care in his collaborative work with East Kent Primary Care Networks (PCN). Outside of work, Ben is a keen sportsman and traveller and has cycled across America.
Physiotherapist Team
Physio4gps are a team of ten highly experienced multinational physiotherapists, who work across multiple GP practices in Kent. The physio4gps team hold over 90 years of experience between them and they are an empathic and multi-skilled bunch of individuals. Amongst other skills, the physio4gps team are trained in acupuncture, First Contact Practitioner (FCP), joint injection, manual therapy, lecturing, women’s health, prescribing and hold excellent communication and social skills, to ensure a shared health outcome for our patients. Our team at physio4gps are incredibly creative and innovative and as well as being talented physiotherapists we have members who have interests in singing, spirituality, cooking and weight lifting!
